The School of Global Affairs at Lancaster University is seeking to appoint a 0.5fte Lecturer in Philosophy of Psychiatry for a fixed term of one year (1 September–31 August.)
About you
We are looking for a colleague who:
has completed a PhD in an area related to Philosophy of Psychiatry;
has experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level as appropriate to their career stage;
has started and is developing a significant programme of research;
has expertise in the Philosophy of Psychiatry, and teaching competence in Philosophy of Science, Philosophy of Mind, Metaphysics, Critical Thinking and Logic.
You will join the Philosophy disciplinary group within the School of Global Affairs, where you will receive supportive career mentorship and the opportunity to participate in a vibrant academic community.
