Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Ground Worker with experience in 360-degree excavation to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with site preparation, operating machinery, and supporting various construction activities. Duties
- Assisting with ground preparation, including digging, trenching, and site clearance using 360-degree excavators
- Operating heavy machinery such as excavators in a safe and efficient manner
- Supporting the mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment on-site
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials using appropriate equipment
- Conducting routine maintenance checks on machinery and reporting any faults or issues
- Supporting other team members with general labour tasks as required
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and site protocols
Experience
- Proven experience operating 360-degree excavators in a construction or civil engineering environment
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction machinery and equipment maintenance
- Experience in commercial driving, including operating lorries or similar vehicles for site logistics
- Familiarity with health and safety procedures on construction sites
- Previous experience in groundworks or civil engineering projects is advantageous but not essential

Pay: £15.26-£22.82 per hour
