Teaching Assistant
32.5 hours per week, term time only plus Inset Days (39 weeks)
Salary WSCC Grade 4, Pt 5 (£25,583 FTE, Actual £19,203)
We are seeking creative and inspiring colleagues to work alongside our teachers in supporting students to access their learning. As a teaching assistant you will be working with individuals or small groups in our specialist learning support areas as well as supporting our mainstream classrooms, making a real difference to our students and their progress.
The successful applicant will, Have a genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive difference. Support students to access mainstream lessons across the school. Develop an understanding of the particular needs of the students they are supporting. Will be flexible and able to adapt to the developing needs of the students and the requirements of the teacher and department. Work calmly under pressure In return, we can offer you:
