Salary: £130-£232.57 per day (Depending on experience and/or qualifications)
Contract: Temporary – Long Term Supply - September 2026 – July 2027
About the role
Source Supply is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, dedicated, and inspirational Key Stage One Class Teacher to become part of a welcoming and supportive school team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is committed to delivering engaging, high-quality teaching and making a positive difference to the educational, social, and emotional development of every child.
The successful applicant will have a secure knowledge of the Key Stage One curriculum and the ability to design and deliver creative, inclusive, and stimulating lessons that motivate pupils and meet the needs of learners of all abilities. They will foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment where children feel respected, supported, and encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning.
We are seeking a teacher with excellent classroom management skills, high expectations for both behaviour and achievement, and a reflective approach to their own professional practice. The successful candidate will use effective assessment strategies to monitor progress, identify next steps in learning, and ensure all pupils are supported to achieve their best.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues. A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school and work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team will also be key to success in this role.
Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
- Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
- Be comfortable delivering their own and pre-set lesson plans to range of children, dependant on the requirements of the school.
- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
