Salary: £36,800.00 (£32,000.00 + 15% shift)
Hours: 2 week rotating shift pattern
- Week 1: Monday - Friday 06:00-14:00
- Week 2: Monday - Thursday 13:00-22:00, Friday 13:00-17:00
Purpose of the role:
To control product quality throughout the business, ensuring that the organisation meets its customers’ expectations.
To advise on best measurement techniques and practices and promote a continuous improvement ethos within the business. Act as an independent authority on all quality related issues.
Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Conduct 1st off and final inspection activities.
- Complete First Article inspections reports.
- Carry out product quality audits to ensure adherence to agreed plans and procedures.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
- Inspection of bought out goods where required.
- To be able to use and program all relevant CMM Measuring Equipment.
Experience:
- A minimum of two years previous experience in a similar position.
- Effective and demonstrable people management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
