About the Role
Source Supply is seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Sheffield, supporting children aged 5–11 with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils with a variety of needs, including Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and Speech and Language difficulties. You will play a key role in supporting their learning, communication, social development, and emotional wellbeing, helping each child to thrive.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, resilient, and passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people. Strong behaviour management and communication skills are essential, alongside a genuine commitment to supporting children with additional needs.
You will become part of a dedicated, child-centred team that works collaboratively to ensure every pupil is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications, and training. All successful applicants will:
- Have experience working with children, young people or young adults in a school or specialist setting
- Demonstrate a nurturing, patient, and consistent approach
- Be willing to support with personal care
- Have referenceable experience from a school or educational environment
- Be passionate about education and committed to helping young people thrive
- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
