Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Assist customers with their orders, ensuring friendly and efficient service at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the premises, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system; process payments and give correct change.
- Support food preparation activities as required, including light snack or pastry assembly.
- Keep the workspace organised and stocked with necessary supplies throughout shifts.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.
- Uphold health and safety standards, including food safety protocols, at all times.
- Contribute positively to team efforts by assisting colleagues when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is preferred.
- Experience in serving customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to prepare food items and beverages with attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required.
