We are looking for an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator in our 32 bed Residential Home which specialises in Dementia.
You should be prepared to work flexibly to meet the needs of our residents and provide an interesting, relevant and targeted activity program.
A good knowledge base of community resources is required.
Experience of working with this resident group would be an advantage, but an outgoing personality with good communication and organisational skills are vital.
Full training and induction will be provided.
General Scope of the Post:
- To provide a wide range of activities, to interest and stimulate the physical and mental state and well-being of the residents.·
- To understand the need of promoting the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment for all residents, therefore treating everyone with respect.
Good communication skills are essential.
Part-time hours: 30-35 per week
