Job Title: Online Retail & Property Administration Assistant
Location: Roydon
Hours: 3-5 days per week, we are flexible on working hours
About the Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive and motivated individual to support our growing online retail operations and property administration activities. This is a varied and fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple business areas, can manage competing priorities, and is comfortable taking ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Online Retail Duties:
- Creating and optimising product listings across online marketplaces including eBay, Amazon, Vinted, Whatnot and other platforms
- Writing accurate titles, descriptions and item specifics
- Uploading photographs and managing product images
- Managing stock records and inventory updates
- Responding to customer enquiries and handling customer service tasks
- Monitoring orders, returns and marketplace messages
- Assisting packing and posting of items
Property Administration Duties:
- Assisting with property paperwork and documentation
- Managing tenancy and compliance records
- Liaising with contractors, tenants and suppliers
- Updating property management systems and spreadsheets
- Supporting short-term let and rental administration tasks
- Assisting with property listings and viewings
General Administrative Duties:
- General administration and data entry
- Maintaining accurate records
- Handling emails and supplier/customer communication
- Preparing documents and maintaining filing systems
- Supporting day-to-day operational tasks across multiple businesses
Essential Skills & Experience
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle essential due to our rural location
- Strong computer literacy and confidence using online systems
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to use initiative, identify problems and proactively find solutions
- Comfortable working within a small business environment where flexibility and adaptability are essential
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience using e-commerce platforms such as eBay, Amazon, Vinted or similar marketplaces
- Property administration or lettings experience
- Experience within small businesses or owner-managed companies
- Knowledge of Xero or similar accounting software
- Experience of Gmail & G Suite
- Social media, photography or content creation experience
