We are looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and enjoys working in a busy, team-focused workshop environment.
Working across Suzuki and Vauxhall vehicles, you will play a vital role in ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable and maintained to the highest standards. You’ll use your technical expertise to diagnose, service and repair vehicles while keeping up to date with the latest manufacturer technology and training.
Who You Are
- At least 3 years’ experience working on light vehicles
- Level 2 Light Vehicle qualification or equivalent
- MOT testing qualification is desirable
- A strong team player with a positive attitude
- Able to manage time effectively and meet job deadlines
- Organised with a clean and tidy approach to your work
- Excellent attention to detail
- Customer-focused and committed to high standards
- Enjoy working in a busy workshop environment
- Hold a full UK driving licence
As a Vehicle Technician
You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability and longevity of customer vehicles, carrying out high-quality servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs.
You will also benefit from ongoing Suzuki and Vauxhall manufacturer training, keeping your technical knowledge and skills up to date with the latest vehicle systems and technologies.
Main Duties
- Diagnose and repair reported vehicle concerns
- Carry out servicing, routine maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Complete diagnostic testing and troubleshooting
- Carry out vehicle health checks and video presentations
- Identify and advise customers on any future work required
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards
- Keep up to date with new technology and vehicle systems through regular Suzuki and Vauxhall manufacturer training
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Comply with all health and safety requirements
Working Hours & Salary
Full-time, Permanent
Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00
Alternate Saturday mornings: 08:30 – 12:30
Salary: £30k-35k Basic with OTE £40k - £45k, depending on experience and performance.
