Job Title: Mechanic (Level 3 Minimum)
Location: Wombwell, Barnsley.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00 Saturdays 8:30-12:00 (One On-One Off)
Salary: Competitive (Dependant On Experience)

Established in 1990 we are a family-run workshop and MOT station based in Wombwell, Barnsley. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality repairs, servicing, and MOTs, with a strong focus on honest advice and excellent customer service. Our loyal customer base continues to grow, and we’re looking for a skilled and reliable mechanic to join our team.
Job Role:
You’ll be working on a wide range of vehicles, carrying out diagnostics, repairs, servicing and MOT preparation. This is a hands-on role in a very busy but supportive environment where quality workmanship is valued over rushing jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle diagnostics, servicing and repairs to a high standard
- Ability to work on your own or as a team with other staff when required
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the team and occasionally customers
- Keep workspace clean and presentable
- Good time keeping is essential
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and safely
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified and experienced vehicle technician/mechanic
- MOT tester license NOT ESSENTIAL (can be discussed at some point for right candidate)
- Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, hardworking and takes pride in their work
- Someone who can work well within a small, close-knit team
