About the Role:
The Risk Settlement team has experienced material growth in the past 2-3 years and continues to grow. We work alongside trustees and insurers to help navigate schemes through buy-in, buyout and wind-up.
Du to this growth, we are looking for a Team Administrator to join our established team, and support with the day-to-day administrative tasks which facilitate the efficient operation of the team.
As a Team Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Risk Settlement Team and support with various initiatives as they continue to develop and flourish. The position requires excellent communication skills, proactivity, an inquisitive mindset and the ability to successfully multi-task.
You will possess an expert knowledge of the core Microsoft programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and have an interest in learning much more about other programs in the Microsoft suite such as Teams, SharePoint and Planner.
Key Responsibilities:

Co-ordinating diaries and booking meetings with insurers, clients and internally across the group.
- Helping prepare for client pitches, including organising the team to ensure all are fully prepared and all documents are appropriately and consistently formatted.
- Onboarding of new clients in line with XPS take-on procedures.
- Working with the Risk Settlement Operations team to ensure client and prospect records are all maintained and up to date.
- Organise and join monthly team meetings.
- Measure and report on the success of new initiatives.
- Becoming an expert in SharePoint to assist in the maintenance, review and future development of the Risk Settlement intranet site(s).
- Working closely with the marketing team in relation to Risk Settlement initiatives.
- Helping to proof-read, finalise, distribute and maintain technical content on both internal and external facing platforms.
- Assist with preparation and follow-up items relating to external webcasts.
- Monitoring and reporting on revenue and recovery.
- Compiling regular MI reports.
- Supporting with recruitment and onboarding of new starters.
- Completing expense claims and other similar regular and ad hoc administrative tasks.
Due to the changing nature of the business, the job holder may from time to time be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within their capabilities.
Your Profile:
Essential:

Ability to manage and deliver in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Strong planning and organisation skills.
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility for own work, working both individually and as part of a small team.
- Expert in MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to manipulate and analyse extensive datasets as well as perfecting.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including proof-reading.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and juggle several tasks with conflicting deadlines.
- A self-starter with the confidence to put forward their own ideas and challenge those of others.
Desirable:
- Previous office-based experience gained within a similar support role in the financial services or pensions industry .
- Experience of maintaining / building sites on the MS SharePoint platform.
- Previous use of MS Teams and Asana to enhance collaboration and workflow.
