We are currently recruiting for a Weighbridge Operator to join a busy quarry and aggregates company based in Guiseley, Leeds.
This is a fantastic temporary to permanent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced site environment.
Shift/salary:
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
- Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30/17:00
- £14.00 per hour
- Immediate start for the right person
Duties will include:
- Operating the weighbridge and accurately recording vehicle weights
- Booking vehicles in and out of site
- Producing tickets and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with drivers, customers, and site staff
- Answering calls and dealing with general enquiries
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed
- Supporting with general administrative duties as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous weighbridge experience is desirable but not essential
- Good computer and administration skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A confident and professional telephone manner
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience within quarry, aggregates, construction, or waste environments would be advantageous
