Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic General Labourer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be an essential part of various construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects, contributing your hands-on skills to ensure smooth operations and high-quality results. Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, and general gardening duties to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators under supervision to support construction and landscaping projects.
- Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure efficient water management across sites.
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and material handling to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members on various construction activities, providing support wherever needed to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or gardening is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices, horticulture principles, or gardening techniques is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating power tools, hand tools, or small machinery such as excavators is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems and general site maintenance procedures is beneficial.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is advantageous for travel between sites.
