Caremark Bath & North East Somerset is seeking an experienced and compassionate Field Care Supervisor to support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in the community. This is a key role within our care team, responsible for supporting Care Assistants, ensuring care quality, and maintaining compliance with Caremark standards and CQC requirements.
You will work closely with the Registered Manager and office team to ensure our customers receive outstanding care and our Care Assistants feel supported, trained, and valued..

- Carry out care assessments, reviews and spot checks in customers’ homes
- Support, supervise and mentor Care Assistants in the field
- Conduct supervisions and competency assessments
- Assist with care plan creation, updates and risk assessments
- Ensure care delivery meets Caremark policies, CQC standards and best practice
- Respond to care issues, incidents and safeguarding concerns appropriately
- Support recruitment, induction and training of new Care Assistants
- Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals and the wider team
- Participate in the on-call rota where required
- An experienced Care Assistant, Senior Care Assistant or Field Care Supervisor
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Confident supporting and guiding others
- Well-organised with strong communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage a varied workload
Essential requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
- Previous experience in a domiciliary care setting
- Full UK driving licence
- Good understanding of CQC standards and safeguarding
- Right to work in the UK
