Tractor Mechanic
Pay: £15.20 – £19.85 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, with overtime available
Job Summary
We are currently looking for a skilled Tractor Mechanic / Agricultural Technician to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of a range of agricultural and plant machinery, including tractors, combines and telehandlers.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanic looking to develop their career within the agricultural and plant engineering sector.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Experience working with agricultural, plant or construction machinery, including tractors, telehandlers, loading shovels or similar equipment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic diagnostic and repair skills.
- Confident using laptop-based diagnostic systems alongside traditional mechanical diagnostic methods.
- Ability to carry out servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repairs safely and efficiently.
- A relevant NVQ in Land-Based Engineering, Plant Engineering or a similar qualification.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
