Evoke Staffing, a trusted recruitment agency based in Essex, is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) HGV Drivers for a busy and growing operation in Thurrock.
Pay Rate: £16.00 – £23.00 per hour
Location: Thurrock
Shifts: Flexible shifts available, including days, nights, and weekends

Key Responsibilities:
- Driving Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Completing deliveries and collections on time
- Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness
- Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork
- Adhering to all driving laws and health and safety regulations
About You:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) HGV licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous driving experience preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong awareness of road safety and regulations
Relevant Experience:
If you have worked for Amazon, Evri or Ocado then this is the role for you.
We are especially keen to hear from drivers with experience in:
- Multi-drop delivery routes
- Store deliveries and RDC (Regional Distribution Centre) work
- Trunking and long-distance driving
- Curtain sider, box trailer, or refrigerated vehicles
- Time-sensitive and high-volume logistics operations
- Working within strict delivery schedules and SLAs
- Use of handheld scanners and delivery systems
- Palletised goods and use of tail lifts or pump trucks
Experience in fast-paced logistics environments will be highly beneficial and will help you hit the ground running.
