The Role
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer you will be part of a 2-man team working a 3-shift rota. You will be tasked to carry out preventative maintenance tasks as well as be reactive with regards to plant breakdowns and repairs on our industrial processing and associated ancillary equipment.
You will also be required to carry out Installation work on machinery and within the factory.
All actions need to be carried out in a safe and professional manor, reporting to supervisors, and filling out daily shift reports and other necessary paperwork.
General Scope of work
1. Work on Hydraulic systems
2. Work on Pneumatic systems
3. General welding and fabrication
4. Oxygen/acetylene burning.
5. Bench fitting
6. Forklift/cherry picker/OHC operation
7. Basic electrical fault finding.
Experience Required
Completed Apprenticeship/time served would be preferred. NVQ level 3 or City and Guilds in Mechanical Maintenance or any other relevant qualification.
Shifts
Week1:
6am-2pm Mon-Fri
Week 2:
8pm-6am Mon-Thurs
Week 3:
1pm-9pm Mon-Thurs, and 10am-6pm Fri
Hours & Pattern subject to change, so flexibility on shift hours required to suit the business demand and changes to business needs.
Weekend working & Call-out also required.
Salary
Weekly Paid, Plus overtime and possible call out.
Basic hours equates to circa £36k
Regular Overtime also available.
Holiday Entitlement/Other
33 days holiday
Fixed Shutdown Periods are pre-planned during Whitsun, Summer & Christmas. Whitsun & Summer are for Maintenance Activities whereby all Engineers are required to work
