Responsibilities
- Accurately measure window openings and prepare materials to ensure precise fitting
- Install, secure, and seal windows using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to follow project specifications
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety standards are maintained throughout all phases of installation
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to guarantee proper fit, finish, and weatherproofing
- Assist with related construction tasks such as plastering, masonry, or carpentry as needed on-site
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in window fitting or related construction fields such as roofing, carpentry, or masonry
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools essential for precise installation work
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and fabrication processes
- Knowledge of construction practices including plastering, welding, electrical work, plumbing, or roofing is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical schematics accurately
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights safely
- Prior experience working with construction painting or masonry enhances your versatility on-site
