Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Customer Service/Sales Administrator to join our busy team. This role involves providing exceptional customer support, managing sales administration tasks, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and internal departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong IT skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail to support our organisational objectives effectively.
Duties
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels, providing excellent customer service and resolving queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently via phone and email, monitoring order progress and keeping the customer informed of any issues or delivery delays.
- Maintain and update client information within CRM systems and other relevant ERP systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Schedule deliveries in line with company policies and provide proof of delivery when required.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management to ensure organisational efficiency.
- Process customer payments and returns in accordance with company procedures.
- Support the external sales team with administrative tasks and customer follow-ups to improve sales and customer satisfaction
- Produce reports, maintain documentation and update buying group portals as required.
- Ensure compliance with company processes, maintain confidentiality of pricing information and provide general administrative and office support when needed.
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in sales administration or customer service is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential, with experience using ERP and CRM systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, with excellent attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive telephone manner and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Able to work independently using initiative, while also contributing positively as part of a team.
- Calm, flexible and adaptable with the ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
