Farmac Timber & Building Supplies is a long‑established, independent builders’ merchant supplying trade and retail customers across Yorkshire. Known for our reliable service and knowledgeable team, we pride ourselves on doing things properly and treating people fairly.
We’re now looking for a Temporary Van Driver to join our Pudsey branch on an initial 3-month contract. This is a key role delivering materials to customers safely, efficiently, and with a professional attitude that reflects our business.
This is a temporary position initially for 3 months, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
What the role involves
- Working Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday mornings
- Delivering building materials to trade and residential customers
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness of the van
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely
- Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately
- Representing Farmac professionally when dealing with customers
- Working closely with yard and branch staff to keep deliveries running smoothly
What we’re looking for
- Valid UK driving licence (Category B)
- Proven van driving experience (essential)
- Reliable, punctual and safety‑conscious
- Comfortable with customer interaction
- Experience delivering building materials or similar goods is an advantage.
