Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our baby room. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children within a nurturing and stimulating environment. A recognised background in early childhood education and nursery experience is highly desirable. The role involves engaging with children, planning activities, and ensuring a safe, inclusive space for all young learners.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development in line our curriculum.
- Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development through attentive care and encouragement.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods to ensure their safety at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication skills.
- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of behaviour, organisation, and hygiene within the nursery setting.
- Assist with the management of nursery resources and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to staff meetings and ongoing professional development activities to enhance childcare practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with babies within a nursery.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative.
- Valid childcare or nursery qualification recognised within the UK (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator).
- Experience in managing behaviour positively and fostering an inclusive environment for all children.
Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
