Laundry Assistant required, two days a week, 08:00 to 16:00.
Day to Day Duties
Maintain the house linen and the residents’ personal laundry.
Liaise with the housekeeper for daily/personal requirements.
Wash & dry all laundry accordingly to the home’s protocols.
Be aware of the correct use of all cleaning agents used and their potential hazardousness in line with COSHH regulations.
Maintain adequate stock levels of all agents used.
Use laundry equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Repair tears and replace buttons on items of personal laundry.
Iron personal items of laundry in accordance with instructions on labels.
Return linen and personal laundry to appropriate rooms/cupboards.
Carry out the daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
Any other duties requested by management.
