Qualified, experienced gardener required to join our small team maintaining private gardens of approximately 45 acres. On a family run estate in Mid Sussex.
This is a mature garden which dates back to 1930's. The garden which has a large collection of rhododendrons and azaleas, is undergoing some renovation work and improvement to the planting plan to expand the seasons of interest.
This is a hands on role, the duties of which include but are not restricted to the following -
- Maintenance and development of borders
- Pruning shrubs
- Mulching borders
- Lawn maintenance
- Hedge cutting and renovation
- Planting of plants
- Tractor work
- Wildflower areas
- Leaf clearing
- Ensuring areas around the main house are tidy
- Basic machinery care
- Watering of plants
- There is a wide range of jobs with this role as expected with a garden of this size.
We are looking for some one who is self motivated, forward thinking and can work efficiently their own and also in a team.
This is a full time role 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Pay: £25,400.00-£26,000.00 per year
