,About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer / Smart Repair Technician to join our team working on rolling stock. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced rail environment, carrying out high-quality cosmetic and paint repairs to trains and associated components.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out smart repairs, including preparation, masking, priming, and paint application
- Perform colour matching and blending to a high standard
- Repair minor damage such as scratches, dents, and scuffs on rolling stock
- Ensure all work meets strict quality, safety, and industry standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow all health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a paint sprayer or smart repair technician (automotive, rail, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of paint systems, materials, and application techniques
- Ability to colour-match and blend effectively
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts
Desirable
- Previous experience working on rolling stock or within the rail industry
- Relevant qualifications in paint spraying or vehicle refinishing

Pay: £17.50-£25.00 per hour
