Senior Accountant & Client Manager
20 Hours per Week | Fully Remote | £45,000 FTE Equivalent + Bonus
About SBX Accountants
SBX Accountants is a modern, growing accountancy practice supporting SMEs, sole traders, startups and property businesses across the UK. We're building a flexible, relationship-focused firm without the chargeable hour culture and micromanagement often associated with traditional practice.
We're looking for an experienced qualified accountant to join us in a key role as we continue to grow.
The Role
You'll take ownership of a portfolio of clients and act as the bridge between clients and our bookkeeping team. You'll review work, manage deadlines and provide practical tax advice directly to business owners.
The portfolio will be deliberately sized around a 20-hour week and supported by our bookkeeping team and systems. Whilst hours are flexible, some availability during normal business hours is expected for client calls and team communication.
There is scope for the role to grow over time as the practice expands, although we are equally happy to support someone wishing to remain part-time long term.
We're looking for somebody who enjoys building relationships and helping small business owners, not simply preparing accounts. Personality and communication matter just as much as technical ability.
