Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced CPCS/NPORS CSCS Forward Tipping Dumper Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will operate forward tipping dumpers safely and efficiently across various construction sites, ensuring smooth material transportation and site productivity. Your mechanical knowledge and ability to handle heavy machinery will be vital in maintaining high safety standards and operational excellence. Duties
- Operate forward tipping dumpers in accordance with site safety protocols and operational guidelines
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of machinery, checking for mechanical issues and ensuring safety features are functional
- Assist with site logistics by transporting materials, debris, and supplies to designated areas efficiently
- Collaborate with ground personnel, including excavator operators and site supervisors, to coordinate movements and tasks
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including load counts and equipment usage logs
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to prevent accidents or injuries on site
- Support basic mechanical troubleshooting when necessary, identifying potential issues before they escalate
Experience
- Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for forward tipping dumper operation, with CSCS card preferred
- Proven experience operating forward tipping dumpers in a construction environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
- Experience working alongside excavators and other construction equipment is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures meticulously and work effectively within a team
- Commercial driving experience is advantageous, showcasing your ability to operate various vehicles safely
