As our Technical Product & Sales Specialist, you'll become the product champion for PHI Hydraulic Products, Tooling, and the Opt2Sim software range. Working closely with customers, engineering teams, and international colleagues, you'll translate technical requirements into commercial solutions, prepare quotations, deliver product demonstrations, and help drive business growth.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys combining engineering knowledge with customer interaction and commercial responsibility. You'll play a visible role in shaping customer projects, supporting global sales activity, and representing the business at customer sites and industry events

Working with an established PHI customer database, along with the team in California, and a large quantity of leads and enquiries; the role will require an appreciation of Engineering processes and terms.
The ability to read engineering drawings in is essential.
Key Objectives:
- Own and develop the PHI Hydraulics and Opt2Sim product ranges.
- Work directly with customers across the UK and international markets.
- Prepare technical proposals and solutions for engineering applications.
- Deliver product demonstrations, training, and presentations.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams.
- Attend customer visits, exhibitions, and trade shows.
- Develop into a recognised product expert within a growing technology business.
Personal Specification:
- Engineering and Commercial mindset
- Attention to detail essential.
- Ability to read CAD drawings essential.
- Customer focused with good communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to use initiative and problem solve.
- Strong computer skills, which includes proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Ability to create effective partnerships at all levels of an organisation.
- Strong attention to detail and follow up skills.
- Ability to adapt in a continually changing business and work environment.
- Experience with CRM system(s) would be Strongly advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
