Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling protocols are followed
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and other consumables to ensure availability at all times
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly to promote health and safety standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the appropriate personnel
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with sanitation regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent time management skills to complete daily tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures for safety compliance
- Reliable with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to maintaining hygiene standards
- Prior experience in school or educational facility cleaning is a plus but not mandatory
