Part-Time Violin Tutor

Dronfield Music Tuition is a friendly, well-established music school with a passion for inspiring musicians of all ages and abilities. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Violin Tutor to join our team from September 2026.
The successful candidate will begin with a full day of teaching, with excellent potential for additional hours as our student base continues to grow.
The Role
You'll deliver engaging one-to-one violin lessons to children and adults, helping students develop confidence, musical ability and a genuine enjoyment of playing. Lessons should be tailored to each student's individual goals, creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where every student can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality one-to-one violin lessons.
- Plan and adapt lessons to suit each student's age, ability and learning style.
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Foster a supportive, motivating and enjoyable learning environment.
- Maintain accurate lesson records and attendance.
- Work professionally as part of the Dronfield Music Tuition team.
- Support students with additional educational needs where appropriate.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about music education and inspiring others.
- A confident violinist with excellent communication skills.
- Friendly, reliable and professional.
- Able to build positive relationships with students and parents.
- Adaptable, patient and enthusiastic.
- Previous teaching experience is welcomed but not essential—we're equally interested in candidates with strong musical ability and a genuine passion for teaching.
