Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team. Responsibilities

- Perform repairs and maintenance on motor vehicles, including engine work, brake servicing, suspension repairs, and electrical diagnostics.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently.
- Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
- Carry out equipment repair and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operational condition of workshop tools and machinery.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks safely when handling vehicle parts or components.
- Maintain records of work performed for each vehicle in accordance with company standards..
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including proper utilisation of safety gear during welding or heavy lifting activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in vehicle repair or maintenance roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
- Experience with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and diagnostic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments.
