Do you have Counterbalance and Reach Forklift licences (both essential) and a full UK driving licence?
If so, we're recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00.
This is a hands on role within a busy stores function, supporting production with some assembly work and ensuring materials are received, stored and issued efficiently across site.
The role will include:
- Receiving and booking in deliveries.
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift.
- Issuing materials and components to production.
- Stock control and regular stock checks.
- Updating internal systems and completing paperwork.
- Maintaining a safe, organised stores area.
- Supporting dispatch when required.
- Supporting assembly activities when required.
- Occasional local collections or deliveries.
You will need:
- A valid Counterbalance and Reach Forklift licence (both essential).
- A full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Good attention to detail.
- A proactive and reliable approach to work.
