Preschool assistant - 35hrs per week (term time only) 8.15 a.m - 3.45 p.m.
Minimum requirement LVL 3 NVQ Early Years Practitioner/Childcare, must have experience. First Aid trained/Paediatric First Aid preferred. Safeguarding knowledge/training completed.
Main duties - Deliver/support engaging activities that support each child's learning and development inline with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children can play, learn and thrive.
Observe, assess and record children's progress.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care.
Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment, following safeguarding and health and safety policies at all times.
Promote equality, inclusion and diversity ensuring every child feels valued and supported.
Set out and put away activities and equipment.
To follow all Preschool policies and procedures.
To safeguard children/adults at all times.
Adhere to statutory and legal requirements.
Work together with the rest of the team to provide high quality care for children aged 2 to 4 years.
