Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver Tailor/Seamstress to join our team. This role involves providing tailored services to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in measuring customers, garment alterations with the use of machines and hand sewing, excellent communication and administration skills. This position offers an engaging opportunity to combine excellent customer service with tailoring skills in a dynamic environment. The role is full time and involves visiting sites in London so a competent driver is required and will be provided with a small van and fuel card.
Duties
- Service a high-profile contract for tailoring services.
- Visit additional sites to carryout collection and delivery of work. (This will require you to drive).
- Provide customised tailoring services as required, including adjustments and fittings.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and the work area at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and service requirements.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and tailoring work performed.
- Maintain stock levels and order goods as per the current company policy.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation activities.
Qualifications
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Good tailoring skills and willingness to learn specific tailoring techniques.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
