Duties
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining a high standard of presentation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any issues or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each dining experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is a necessity.
- Strong knowledge of culinary standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest experiences through effective communication.
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience is an advantage but not essential.
