Duties
- Assist with the preparation and handling of materials for joinery and carpentry projects
- Support the assembly and installation of kitchens
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, and screwdrivers to carry out tasks accurately
- Operate power tools safely to cut, shape, and assemble wood or other materials
- Perform heavy lifting to move materials around the site efficiently and safely
- Support masonry, plumbing, electrical, and construction painting tasks as needed during project phases
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and productivity
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and safe working practices in construction environments
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor throughout the workday
- Willingness to learn fabrication, assembly techniques, and carpentry skills from experienced team members
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience or familiarity with roofing, masonry, plumbing or electrical work is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork
- Relevant certifications or training in construction-related fields are advantageous but not essential
