.Weekend Studio Assistant
Saturday and Sunday
Are you friendly, reliable and love working with people?
We're looking for a confident Weekend Studio Assistant to join our busy, family-run pottery painting studio. This is a customer-facing role where no two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys keeping busy, takes pride in their work and can work confidently using their own initiative.
What you'll be doing:
- Welcoming customers and providing excellent customer service.
- Helping customers with pottery painting.
- Serving drinks and snacks.
- Operating the till and handling payments.
- Cleaning tables, brushes and equipment.
- Keeping the studio clean, organised and well stocked.
- Preparing the studio before opening and resetting throughout the day.
- Helping with parties and special events.
- Completing general housekeeping and ad hoc tasks as needed.
Sunday duties also include:
- Dipping finished pottery to a high standard ready for firing.
- End-of-day deep cleaning and preparing the studio for the week ahead.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual every week.
- Friendly, confident and enjoys talking to people.
- Hard-working with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and use their own initiative.
- Comfortable handling money and basic calculations.
- Calm under pressure in a busy environment.
- Happy to clean and keep high standards throughout the day.
- Looking for a long-term weekend position.
This role is ideal for someone who wants regular weekend work and can commit to the same agreed days each week.
