Grillo designs and manufactures British-made outdoor kitchens that bring people together around food and flames. Playing in an emerging market with huge potential, we are looking for a Sales Manager to lead our sales team through the next stage of the business.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll take the company strategy and turn it into clear sales priorities, keep the team focused on performance and help develop the people, processes and structure needed as Grillo moves into its next phase of growth.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading, coaching and supporting the consumer and trade sales teams.
- Setting clear targets and taking ownership of sales performance.
- Managing the pipeline, forecasting and conversion rates.
- Making sure enquiries and opportunities are followed up properly.
- Improving sales processes and CRM discipline.
- Tracking showroom visits, conversion rates and resulting sales, and taking action to improve performance against agreed targets.
- Supporting larger or more complex sales when needed.
- Assisting with recruitment and onboarding new team members.
- Clear, timely sales reporting.
About you
You’ll ideally have experience managing a sales team and delivering against targets. You’ll be commercially minded, comfortable with numbers and confident giving people clear direction and feedback.
You’ll also be someone who:
- Enjoys coaching and developing others.
- Sets high standards without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Understands pipeline management, forecasting and CRM systems.
- Is comfortable working in a growing, fast-moving business.
- Leads from the front and is happy to get involved.
- Communicates clearly.
Experience in direct-to-consumer, trade or consultative sales would be useful. A background in kitchens, interiors, home improvement, design or premium products would be helpful, but isn’t essential.
Why join Grillo?
You’ll have the chance to shape a growing sales team, improve how we work and make a real contribution to the future of the business.
In addition to the base salary, this role comes with a performance-related bonus linked to overall sales results. Full details of the bonus structure will be discussed during the interview process.
