About us
Guardian House is the newest addition to the Castle Nursery & Pre-School family. Following a comprehensive refurbishment, we offer a bright, modern setting with five purpose-built rooms, upgraded outdoor play areas and thoughtfully designed, child-friendly interiors.
Every age group enjoys access to our large garden, complete with a nursery allotment where children grow their own fruit and vegetables, later cooked by our on-site nursery cook. We are proud of our commitment to outdoor learning, Forest School and connecting children with nature. Ideally placed just 100 yards from Godalming train station and close to the High Street, with a large on-site car park, Guardian House is an easy and welcoming place to work.
About the role
We are building a friendly, reliable bank of nursery practitioners to support our team on a flexible basis. Bank work is ideal if you want variety and the freedom to choose when you work, whether you are fitting work around studies, family or other commitments, returning to the sector, or simply prefer to work flexibly.
As a bank practitioner you will step in to cover across our rooms as needed, supporting daily routines, activities and care for children from three months to five years. There is no fixed weekly commitment. We will offer you shifts as they arise and you let us know what you can take. It is also a great way to get to know the setting, with genuine opportunities to move into a permanent role should one become available and suit you.
