Role Overview
We are looking to recruit a reliable and organised Stores Person / Fleet Administrator to support our operations. This role is key to ensuring efficient stock control, timely distribution of materials to engineers nationwide, and effective fleet administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries from suppliers, ensuring stock is checked, recorded, and stored correctly
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock levels
- Arrange and dispatch materials to engineers across multiple regions
- Carry out regular stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy
- Monitor company vehicles to ensure valid MOTs are in place
- Book vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs with local garages
- Liaise closely with internal departments, supporting smooth day to day operations
Skills & Attributes
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with various internal teams
- Proactive and dependable approach to work
Experience & Education
Preferred (but not essential):
- Previous experience as a Stock Controller (1 year)
- Previous experience in Fleet Administration (1 year)
Full training will be provided for the right candidate who can demonstrate the required skills and abilities.
