Role Overview
The Housekeeper at Fifty One London is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all resident rooms and communal areas. As part of a premium student accommodation brand, attention to detail and a consistently high quality of work are essential. The role requires a proactive and thorough approach, ensuring every space is clean, hygienic, and welcoming at all times.
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service all resident studios to a high standard, including bed area, bathroom, and kitchen areas
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all communal areas, including lounges, corridors, and shared facilities
- Clean and maintain the building's external entrance areas, ensuring a welcoming first impression at all times
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly and safely in accordance with COSHH guidelines
- Change and replenish linen, towels, and consumables as required
- Complete weekly inventory checks of cleaning supplies and report stock levels to the Property Manager
- Work closely with the Concierge team to coordinate room readiness ahead of check-insand weekly scheduling of studios’ cleaning.
- Adhere to the company dress code and maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by the Property Manager
- All matters, incidents, and operational issues must be reported directly to the Property Manager
- Door codes, keys, and access credentials must never be shared with any unauthorised person under any circumstances; any lost or compromised access must be reported to the Property Manager immediately
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel, luxury serviced apartment, or high-end hospitality environment preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and health and safety procedures
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in the quality of their work
- Good communication skills and a professional manner when interacting with residents and colleagues
Pay: £29,000.00 per year
