Self-Employed Courier Driver / Owner Driver

About Us
We are a growing, family-run same-day courier company looking to expand our team with reliable and hardworking self-employed subcontractor drivers.
We provide both local and nationwide dedicated delivery services and are continuing to grow through new direct contract work and long-term client relationships. We are currently a small team looking to grow with the right people around us.
Our work includes:
- Dedicated same-day courier deliveries
- AOG (Aircraft on Ground) airline parts delivered to airports across the UK at all hours of the day and night
- Lost luggage deliveries for airline passengers
- Direct contract work from existing clients
- Access to the Courier Exchange platform where you can bid for and secure your own jobs
As our direct work continues to grow, we are looking for drivers who are reliable, trustworthy, motivated, and want to grow with the business long-term.
The Role
This is a flexible self-employed subcontractor opportunity suited to motivated individuals who are willing to put the hours in to maximise earnings.
Some days are longer than others due to the nature of same-day logistics and traffic conditions, however the earning potential is genuinely a direct reflection of your reliability, effort, availability, and willingness to work.
You will complete a mixture of local deliveries, long-distance nationwide work, urgent airport deliveries, and customer luggage deliveries.
Drivers will also be expected to confidently learn and use the Courier Exchange platform to bid for and secure additional work alongside jobs allocated directly from us.
We are ideally looking for drivers who can work 4–5 days per week, with flexibility to occasionally help out during weekends and busy periods when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete same-day dedicated deliveries, including nationwide routes
- Deliver urgent AOG airline parts to airports across the UK
- Carry out lost luggage deliveries professionally and efficiently
- Communicate professionally with clients and provide accurate ETAs
- Use Courier Exchange to bid for and secure additional work
- Check and report any discrepancies with deliveries
- Load and unload goods safely and handle items with care
- Provide clear Proof of Delivery (POD) and maintain accurate records
- Follow all road laws and company procedures
- Represent the company professionally at all times

Van Requirements
Applicants will already own a reliable van suitable for courier work.
Requirements
The right person will be:
- Reliable and trustworthy — these are absolutely key
- Personable with excellent communication skills
- Motivated with a can-do attitude
- Comfortable working independently and using initiative
- Confident using smartphones and apps
- Comfortable learning the Courier Exchange platform
- Professional and presentable at all times
- Comfortable with nationwide driving and occasional longer days
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Over 21 years old for insurance purposes
- Based within 40 minutes of Slinfold
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Physically able to load and unload packages safely
- Comfortable using apps such as WhatsApp, Google Maps, and Courier Exchange
