Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver care supplies, medications, and essential items directly to clients’ doorsteps
- Assist clients with light to heavy lifting during deliveries, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Communicate effectively with clients to confirm delivery details and address any special needs or instructions
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, client records, and adherence to safety protocols
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe and timely deliveries
- Provide friendly, respectful service that promotes trust and positive relationships with clients
Skills
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver preferred
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics for routine checks and minor repairs
- Proven experience in driving, especially in delivering goods or services door-to-door
- Ability to stay organized, punctual, and attentive to detail in a fast-paced environment
