We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring customers enjoy a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is vital, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in customer service, food presentation, and team collaboration.

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve meals, drinks, and desserts promptly and courteously
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food handling and serving
- Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Handle guest enquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
- Support with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including garnishing and presentation
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
- Good organisational skills with effective time management
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen processes is desirable
- Culinary experience or familiarity with restaurant operations is a plus
- Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance guest experience and sales performance
