We are a small family run business based in Whetstone. Established for 25 years, which over the years we have built up a healthy client base. We have a lot of interesting and a wide variety of work on the books.
We are looking for an experienced Office-Based Estimator to join our team. This is a varied role suited to someone experience in building counters /Reception desk all aspects of cabinet making. Use of Auto Cad help full .
Duties
- Prepare accurate quotations, including materials and labour costs
- Review drawings and project specifications to assess requirements
- Liaise with clients to clarify details and provide updates
- Order materials and coordinate with suppliers
- Support and oversee jobs on the shop floor where required
- Ensure projects run efficiently and within budget
Requirements
- Previous experience in an estimating role (preferred)
- Good knowledge of construction or joinery/cabinet making
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Proficient in basic IT systems (e.g. email, spreadsheets)
