Duties
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including examinations, treatments, and surgeries
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials to ensure efficiency
- Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Sterilise and disinfect dental instruments and equipment according to health and safety standards
- Manage appointment schedules, coordinate patient flow, and handle administrative tasks to keep the clinic organised
- Communicate effectively with patients, team members, and external healthcare providers to support seamless operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with patients and team members
- IT literacy to manage electronic health records and appointment systems efficiently
- Excellent organisational skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of nursing principles and practices relevant to dental care is advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail
