Security Engineer — Intruder Alarms, CCTV & Access Control
£40,000–£45,000 Basic | + Overtime & Call-Out

We are a well-established, family-run security and electrical business based in Leicestershire, and we are looking to add an experienced Security Engineer to our growing team.

As we continue to grow, we need another skilled engineer who wants steady, local work and the chance to be part of a business that values doing the job properly.
This is genuinely local work — mainly across Leicestershire — so no long-distance travel and no living out of a van on motorways. You'll be home each night.
The Role:
- Installing, servicing and fault-finding intruder alarm systems (your core focus)
- Working across CCTV, access control and intercom systems
- Some fire alarm work as part of the mix
- A blend of domestic (around 80%) and commercial/industrial work
- Delivering a first-class, professional service that keeps customers coming back
The Package:
- £40,000–£45,000 basic salary
- Overtime and call-out on top
- Company van (work use) and all power tools supplied
- 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
- Call-out rota just 1 week in 7 — and with calls filtered first, genuine call-outs are rare
- Local work across Leicestershire — home every night
What We're Looking For:
- Solid experience installing, servicing and fault-finding intruder alarm systems
- Good working knowledge of CCTV, access control and intercom
- Some fire alarm experience would be an advantage
- A methodical, quality-focused approach and a good manner with customers
- Full UK driving licence
- Must be based in Leicestershire
