Big Motoring World Group is an expanding dealer group that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ a PDR Technician at our Preparation Centre in Sheffield. Working as a PDR Technician within our busy workshop.
Shift Pattern:
- 4 on/off
- 38.5hrs per week
- Bank holidays and weekend working when required
Role and responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicles for dents, dings, and minor body imperfections.
- Perform paintless dent repair on vehicle panels, doors, hoods, fenders, and roofs.
- Collaborate with detailing and prep teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Maintain accurate repair records for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Continuously update skills and knowledge of PDR tools and techniques.
Person specification:
- Hold a Full UK Driving Licence - Any job offer that requires driving company vehicles is subject to a DVLA check, and applicants with six or more penalty points or a previous disqualification may not meet our insurance requirements and therefore may not be eligible for employment.
- Minimum 2 years experience in similar role
- Dealer experience preferable but not essential
- Experience working on steel and aluminium vehicle body panels.
- Take pride and responsibility for your own appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work
- Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
- Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
- Team player
- Literate, numerate and proficient computer skills
- Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work
- Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details
- Your own set of PDR Tools and Tools box
