Dedicated Cafe Cook required to join our friendly team.
The Touchdown Cafe is a traditional “old school“cafe based at Wellesbourne airfield, famous for our all day full English breakfast and traditional cafe lunches.

Full training in our processes and procedures will be given to ensure consistent quality and presentation to our much loved dishes.
.We are a well established busy cafe open 7days a week, blessed with a wonderful customers base serving people from all walks of life great honest food, in an interesting and varied environment.
The shifts are 8.30am to 5.00pm
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
totalling 34 hours per week at £14.00 per hour
This is a permanent position all year round not seasonal.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision and consistency, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
- Follow all food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area to promote a safe dining environment
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks seamlessly and maintaining a steady workflow
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and monitor inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize freshness
- Serve food promptly and courteously to customers, assisting with any special requests or dietary needs
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine kitchen sanitation to uphold health regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or café setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of ingredients
- Excellent culinary skills with an eye for detail in meal presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and sanitation procedures
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for creating delicious meals and serving guests.
Pay: £14.00 per hour
