Job Title: Strategic Communications Manager
We're seeking a Strategic Communications Manager to join our innovative startup, The Innovation Game (TIG). Our mission is to revolutionise scientific research by creating a market-based framework that accelerates the development of computational methods for science, mathematics, and AI, creating a sustainable ecosystem for open collaboration in scientific research.
About the Role:
You’ll play a central role in how TIG communicates with the outside world and operates internally. This includes shaping our public voice across platforms (X, Youtube, Linkedin, Discord, Reddit), coordinating partner relationships, helping the team stay aligned on internal goals and timelines. You should have a clear, concise writing style, strong organisational skills, and an enthusiasm for communicating complex ideas in accessible ways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support partner communications, including meeting preparation, follow-ups, and reporting.
- Coordinate our presence at conferences and events, including applications, and logistics.
- Write and manage external-facing content, including social media threads (e.g. on X), blog posts, and media kits.
- Track internal milestones.
- Help develop and maintain TIG’s external narrative and brand positioning as the project evolves.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting clear and engaging messaging.
- Proven experience in communications, operations, or startup coordination.
- Ability to translate complex or technical material into accessible language.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently, with strong attention to detail.
- Interest in science and/or crypto is a strong plus.
- Fluency in English.
